My goal for Aletheia Christian is that we honor Christ while pursuing excellence in all that we do.

Mr. Laxton is a native of Tennessee and has gained a variety of professional experience over nearly two decades.. He received his B.S. in Secondary Education and History from Bethel University in McKenzie, Tennessee. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Nashville School of Law. Finally, Mr. Laxton received his Educational Specialist Degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Mr. Laxton has served in a variety of roles in his professional career as an educator. He has taught many different high school subjects and coached high school football as a Defensive Coordinator for many years. In his most recent position, he served as the Chief Legal and Strategy Officer for a school district in Tennessee. He also practiced law in the Nashville, Tennessee area for nearly four years. These professional experiences allow him to possess a broad array of skills and strengths in the academic, operational, strategic, and community relations aspects of school leadership. 

Mr. Laxton is deeply committed to servant leadership and building community through showing value to both students and families while building lasting and meaningful relationships. For him, the partnership that exists between the school and the home is of utmost importance. It is his desire that Aletheia Christian be the first choice for Christian families and that Aletheia Christian would partner with those families to raise up the next generation of Christ-followers. His goal for Aletheia Christian is that we honor Christ while pursuing excellence in all that we do.

Mr. Laxton and his wife, Stacie, have been married for twelve years and have two beautiful children, Sawyer and Brooks. Mr. Laxton enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, having meaningful discussions, and going to the gym.
