Scholarships & Financial Aid

Florida Scholarships

Aletheia participates in the Florida School Choice Program. Any Florida resident may apply to receive funding under one of Florida’s scholarship programs. The Scholarships known as FTC (Florida Tax Credit), FES-EO (Family Empowerment Scholarship for Education Options), and FES-UA (Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities) are all accepted by Aletheia to help pay the cost of the standard tuition and fees.

The scholarships are administered by Step Up for Students (www.stepupforstudents.org) and AAA Scholarship Foundation (www.aaascholarships.org). A parent can apply to both organizations, but may only accept one scholarship. The award amounts change each year and are set by the Florida Department of Education and the Florida Legislature. Visit the two websites for further information.

Aletheia Financial Aid

It is the desire of Aletheia Christian Academy to partner with our families to educate their children in a Christian environment equipping them for the future. For our existing families that are experiencing financial hardship, there may be additional financial aid available. We ask our families to first apply for one of the Florida scholarships. If the remaining portion owed to the school is a financial burden, we have limited financial aid available.

To protect the confidentiality of our families, we use FACTS Grant and Aid to determine financial need. Using this link FACTS Grant and Aid, families should look under the K-12 Families section and find Payment Plans/Financial Aid. Parents will be asked a variety of financial questions and will be asked to provide tax returns and other documents. FACTS currently charges a $40 fee to apply for Grant and Aid.

In addition to the FACTS application, there is a short Financial Aid Google Form that must be completed. Please note that financial aid must be applied for each year. Receiving financial aid one year does not imply that aid will be given in subsequent years.
