Ethical Misconduct
All employees and agents of a public school district, charter school or private school have an obligation and legal responsibility to report misconduct by instructional personnel and school administrators which affects the health, safety or welfare of a student.
Examples of misconduct include: obscene language, drug & alcohol use, disparaging comments, prejudice or bigotry, sexual innuendo, cheating, physical aggression and accepting or offering favors.
Misconduct by the Administrator should be reported to one of the members of the Aletheia School Board or to the Assistant Administrator. Misconduct by a school staff member other than the Administrator should be reported to the Administrator, the Assistant Administrator or one of the members of the Aletheia School Board.
Failure to report misconduct may result in penalties up to termination of employment.
Notice: All employees are required to complete ethics training on an annual basis as a condition of their employment.
