Church Attendance & Profession of Faith

Church Attendance/Profession of Faith

Aletheia Christian Academy believes the Bible to be the divinely inspired Word of God, inerrant in its original manuscripts.  We accept the traditional principles of Christianity, outlined in the Bible, as the standard for daily living.  As Christ is the cornerstone of the church, we believe that He is also the cornerstone of the educational process.

Because Aletheia is a discipleship school, all families who desire to come to Aletheia must attend a local, evangelical church. At least one parent or guardian must have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Students in Grades 7-12 must have either accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior or demonstrated an openness to pursuing a relationship with the Lord.

Partnership With the Home

Aletheia Christian Academy forms a partnership with the home and family to help educate students and to guide them in the development of biblical character and a biblical lifestyle.  The Bible is the basis for determining what qualities or characteristics exemplify a Christ-like life.  The school reserves the right, within its sole discretion, to refuse admission of an applicant or to discontinue enrollment of a student if the atmosphere or conduct with in a particular home or the activities of the student are counter to or are in opposition to the biblical lifestyle the school teaches.  This includes, but is not limited to, participating in, supporting or condoning sexual immorality; drunkenness; illegal drug use; witchcraft; promoting such practices or being unable to support the moral principles of the school, as described in Galatians 5:16-26, Ephesians 4:17-5:7, Romans 1:18-32.
